Do you need a referral to see a podiatrist?

While doctors often refer to our team to look after all types of foot, leg and joint pains, a referral is not needed to see our expert podiatrist’s
 

Do we treat children?

Absolutely! Addressing growing pains, foot injuries and sore joints of children is our passion. We love nothing more than children running around enjoying active living and sport


Do we treat heel pain?

Yes! Heel pain is the most common complaint we treat at Wollongong Podiatry. Our aim is to address the cause of your heel pain and have you hopping, skipping and jumping through life


What should I bring to my appointment?

Shoes! Bring two or three pairs of shoes, the ones you wear the most - e.g. work and athletic shoes. If you have any foot or leg scans bring them also


What should I wear to my appointment?

Athletic casual clothing. You will need to move freely in the appointment so wear comfortable clothing, and make sure your podiatrist will be able to see your knees easily - no skinny jeans
 

How much does an appointment cost

Our appointments range in time and cost, from 20 minutes through to 60 minutes depending on your treatment needs. When you book our friendly reception team will ask what you need our podiatrists to assess and treat, and will book an appropriate amount of time to do so
 

Do you have on the spot Health Fund Claiming (HICAPS)?

Yes. If you have private health insurance with podiatry cover you will be able to claim at the time of your appointment, as long as you bring your health fund card with you


Do we bulk bill?

If you have a valid Enhanced Primary Care management plan and referral from your GP you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate for your appointment. We do not bulk bill
