Most people wearing orthotics were not offered a plan to GET OUT OF THEM. We believe there should be a long term plan to get back onto your own two feet (literally) so will work together with you to get your feet strong and working functionally again

Consider this ... 

If you injure your knee and need a knee brace, there is a plan to get out of the knee brace. If you break your collarbone and need a shoulder sling, there is a plan to get out of the sling. BUT if you injure your foot, ankle, shin, knee, hip or back and need orthotics, there is NO PLAN to get you out of them ... except at Wollongong Podiatry
 

Where orthotics go wrong … 

Your body is made up of many joints ... These joints exist for one reason ... To allow MOVEMENT. There are 33 joints in each of your feet ... That’s right ... 33 joints!!! All of which are designed to MOVE. If your orthotics are stopping or severely restricting movement at these joints you are transferring stress to other joints in your body.. such as your knees, hips and spine!!
